25/26th September: It's a 'HR'd Day's Night' (June 30, 2010)
A bit more NCF news to take your mind off the heat - we’ve added a brand new comedy play to our upcoming festival lineup!
‘HR’d Day’s Night’, written by James ‘Lloydie’ Lloyd,
follows the misfortunes of Trish, who works in HR by day and hosts what
could be the worst cabaret show in the world in her spare time. She
dreams of making her name in the entertainment industry so that she can
escape her bitchy boss, but that looks increasingly unlikely as the
cabaret night goes from bad to worse. To make matters even more
depressing, her only love interest is at work - not great when you work
in HR. Combine bitching, backbiting and really bad cabaret acts, and
you’re in for an HR’d Day’s Night...
This original comedy will be performed for the very first time at Nottingham’s Arts Theatre at 8pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September. Add it to your list of must-see Festival events this year and buy your ticket for only £8!
