Your Chance To Get Involved In This Ever Growing Event For Nottingham.

Nottingham Comedy Festival is now in its 4th year and is looking for help and support from companies and individuals so it can expand and reach more people.

The first year festival was held in 2009 Since then we have gone on to have 2 more sucessful festivals. More information on the festival can be found on this website. Information on the parent company, NCF Comedy can be found at http://www.ncfcomedy.co.uk

The comedy industry is one of the few that is not greatly affected by the recession. In times of economic uncertainty people view comedy as a way of escaping the grim realities of everyday life.

The first festival in the city went exceptionally well and has resulted in regular comedy shows at a number of venues. The second year was even stronger and saw support from more of the major comedy clubs and comedians in the area.

The 2012 festival, like previously, will incorporate many different styles of comedy, including stand up, improvisation, plays and workshops. It will give more people the opportunity to get involved, hold more shows and enjoy themselves. In addition we are looking to hold specialist workshops for children with learning difficulites (subject to funding)

To do this however we need some sponsorship. If you feel you can help then please get in contact with us at info@nottscomedyfestival.co.uk

Financial Support

We are looking for sponsorship on all levels to help with the festival and future planned festival workshops.

Any sponsors over the value of £1000+ will be regarded as main sponsors and the amount of advertising space will reflect the contribution.

In-Kind Support

As an alternative to money we are looking for In-Kind Support.

Maybe you can help us in other ways. i.e. Promotion, providing equipment, providing venues, holding an event.

Any support over the value of £1000 will be regarded as a main sponsor and will be guaranteed advertising space, the amount of which will reflect the contribution.

Benefits for you

All sponsors:

  •  Will be allocated space on the festival website and in the festival brochure.

Pete Smith
"The Nottingham Comedy Festival gives local comedians and comedy performers the perfect opportunity to perform and develop their own shows locally and affordably. Since it started in 2009 the Festival and it's regular comedy events have created a focal point around which local artists can meet and perform. In doing so a vibrant and exciting local comedy scene has emerged in Nottingham and continues to develop."
