We are looking to put together a committee for the Nottingham Comedy Festival. This is YOUR chance to get involved.
The committee will aim
to meet once a month where all festival matters will be discussed. We are looking
for people who will be able to bring valuable skills to the festival team that
will help make it a stronger event. Each committee member will be given a role
which will provide them with an area of work. If there is an area of work that
is not covered here but you feel would be a valuable to the Festival then
please add it onto the application form for consideration.
This is currently an
unpaid position.

Administrator
Assistant

PR
Assistant

Finance Assistant

University
Reps x2
Administrator Assistant:
Responsibilities:
·
Acting as
a main point of contact
·
Assisting
with the arrangements for events
·
Taking
minutes at monthly meetings
Marketing/PR Assistant:
Responsibilities:
·
Conducting
research into different methods of publicity
·
Updating
online listings of shows
·
Enhancing
the reputation of the festival
·
Preparing
press releases
Finance Assistant:
Responsibilities:
·
Generating
fundraising ideas
·
Researching
large and small scale companies that may offer sponsorship
·
Organising
fundraising events
University Reps:
We are looking for 2
University Reps, 1 for Nottingham Trent University and 1 for the University of
Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
·
Promoting
the Comedy Festival amongst the University
·
Getting
University groups involved in the Festival
Reps MUST attend the University that they are
representing.
